Hi,
Is it possible to define a fill shape e.g. a series of map symbols. I have tried using a brush based on an object but I've not found out how to get it to act as the fill. _________________ Simon Knight

| ZeusDraw does not have pattern fills at the moment -we will consider it if enough people ask. As (an admittedly roundabout) work around you could build up the pattern you want using the multi-copy tools (for a rectangular pattern, copy the objets in a vertical line and then multiple copy the the veritcal line of object horizontally), group it and then cookie-cut it to the shape yu are trying to fill. |

I would also quite like to be able to fill a shape with a simple pattern, just stripes would be ok.
I do a lot of diagrams that can only be reproduced in monochrome and this would be exceptionally helpful. |

Unfortunately this is fairly low on the list of things to do. The work around suggested in the the answer to the previous post is the best that can be done for now:
Build up the pattern you want you want, store a copy of it in another file and then when you want to use it, copy it into your working file and cookie-cut it with the shape you are trying to fill. |
